Seismosphere

Where does earthquake data go?
Into the Seismosphere, of course!

Seismosphere is the evolution of the seismic data management system developed by the Seismology Research Centre to help manage its earthquake observatory, and is now a cloud-based platform that any operator of seismic instrumentation can use to concentrate their data for earthquake monitoring and to manage their network of seismographs.

Unusual seismic signals at stations can be detected and associated into events, with an estimate of the location and magnitude sent out via email notification. Event waveforms can be easily downloaded and manually analysed using our free Waves app.

Seismosphere is not a long term archive for your data, but you can forward data via FTP to a suitable storage service. Contact us for pricing for data hosting and service charges.
