Seismoscope is the only earthquake browser app that includes data from the SRC for southeast Australia.
This is the region that our observatory is funded to monitor for earthquake activity. Most of the ground vibrations generated by these earthquakes are well below the level of human perception, but very little escapes the capabilities of our seismometers and data analysts.
Being designed to better report Australian earthquakes doesn’t mean that our app is not relevant to the rest of the world. We also pull in data from some of the best earthquake authorities in the region and from around the world, allowing you to find out about major earthquakes wherever they occur on earth.
