This earthquake occurred at the very southern end of Metropolitan Adelaide less than 3 kilometres off the coast of Moana, and approximately 33 kilometres southwest of Adelaide, SA. This earthquake was felt by some suburban residents in the local area.

2022 December 28 @ 9:40am ACDT, SW of Southend SA Magnitude 3.6
This earthquake occurred off the southern coast of SA, approximately 59 kilometres southwest of Southend; and 97 kilometres west-southwest of Mount Gambier, SA.

2022 December 26 @ 4:15am AEDT, SE of Bruny Island TAS Magnitude 2.7
This earthquake occurred offshore of Bruny Island in southeast Tasmania, approximately 77 kilometres south-southeast of Hobart, TAS.

2022 December 24 @ 3:47am AEDT, WSW of Nietta TAS Magnitude 2.7
This earthquake occurred approximately 7 kilometres west-southwest of the township of Nietta, and approximately 38 kilometres southwest of Devonport, TAS. This earthquake was felt by some residents in the nearby rural vicinity.

2022 December 24 @ 1:07am AEDT, SW of Swanpool VIC Magnitude 2.2
This earthquake occurred approximately 5 kilometres southwest of the town of Swanpool, and approximately 145 kilometres northeast of Melbourne, VIC. This earthquake was felt by some residents in Swanpool and surrounding rural areas.

2022 December 20 @ 8:19am AEDT, NE of Woods Point VIC Magnitude 3.4
This earthquake is one of over 1600 aftershocks that have now been recorded in the area since the magnitude 5.8 earthquake on 22 September 2021; and the largest aftershock recorded since in the area since that day. This earthquake was felt by residents in Woods Point and surrounding rural localities.

2022 November 22 @ 8:44am AEDT, SE of Ulladulla NSW Magnitude 3.0
This earthquake occurred just off the NSW south coast, approximately 64 kilometres southeast of Ulladulla, and 143 kilometres south of Wollongong, NSW.

2022 November 8 @ 8:12pm AEDT, NNE of Foster VIC Magnitude 2.8
This earthquake occurred approximately 8 kilometres north-northeast of the town of Foster, and approximately 140 kilometres southeast of Melbourne, VIC. This earthquake was felt by some residents in Foster and surrounding rural areas.

2022 November 5 @ 9:45am AEDT, SE of Frogmore NSW Magnitude 4.1
This earthquake occurred approximately 57 kilometres east of Young, NSW; and approximately 110 kilometres north-northwest of Canberra, ACT. This earthquake was the largest recorded in Southeast Australia in 2022 and was widely felt throughout the surrounding region as far away as some residents in Canberra.

2022 October 29 @ 5:47pm AEDT, NNE of Aberfeldy VIC Magnitude 2.9
This earthquake occurred approximately 8 kilometres north-northeast of the old mining town of Aberfeldy, and approximately 127 kilometres east-northeast of Melbourne, VIC, in the same vicinity to the Woods Point earthquakes. This earthquake was felt by some rural residents in the area.

2022 October 28 @ 5:20am AEDT, NW of Granville Harbour TAS Magnitude 3.0
This earthquake occurred just off the coast of western Tasmania, approximately 67 kilometres northwest of Queenstown. A magnitude 2.7 earthquake was recorded in a similar area but further offshore on November 2nd.

2022 October 19 @ 9:01am AEDT, NE of Mansfield VIC Magnitude 3.6
This earthquake occurred approximately 10 kilometres northeast of Mansfield, and approximately 146 kilometres northeast of Melbourne, VIC. This earthquake was widely felt throughout Mansfield and surrounding rural areas. Two small aftershocks were recorded in the hour following this earthquake.

2022 October 19 @ 4:40am AEDT, Paxton NSW Magnitude 2.6
This earthquake occurred close to the towns of Paxton, Ellalong and Millfield; and approximately 42 kilometres west of Newcastle, NSW. This event woke up and were felt by some residents in these small towns and surrounding rural areas.

2022 September 18 @ 5:41am AEST, Frankston VIC Magnitude 2.3
This earthquake occurred in suburban Frankston just south of the town centre and approximately 750m from the local high school. This slightly shallow earthquake, approximately 41 kilometres southeast of Melbourne, VIC; was felt by many residents in suburban Frankston, adjoining suburbs and nearby semi-rural localities.

2022 September 17 @ 11:20pm AEST, E of Licola VIC Magnitude 2.5
This earthquake occurred near the township of Licola approximately 159 kilometres east of Melbourne, VIC. This event, which was located approximately 32 kilometres from the epicentre of the 5.8 Woods Point earthquake almost a year ago, was felt by some local residents in Licola and surrounding rural areas.

2022 September 7 @ 4:33pm ACST, W of Beachport SA Magnitude 2.8
This earthquake was the largest of three that were recorded in the vicinity approximately 27 kilometres offshore west of Beachport, SA; and approximately 306 kilometres south-southeast of Adelaide, SA.
A magnitude 2.1 earthquake was recorded just one minute after this event whilst a magnitude 2.5 earthquake was recorded in a similar location a couple of weeks earlier on August 22.

2022 September 6 @ 12:09pm AEST, S of Stanhope VIC Magnitude 3.3
This earthquake occurred approximately between the towns of Stanhope and Rushworth, approximately 41 kilometres west-southwest of Shepparton and approximately 146 kilometres north of Melbourne, VIC. This earthquake was widely felt in the local rural area and as far away as some residents in the Shepparton regional centre. A magnitude 1.8 aftershock was recorded the following day.

This earthquake occurred close to the town of Melrose, and approximately 57 kilometres southeast of Port Augusta, SA. This event was felt by some residents in Melrose and surrounding rural areas.

2022 August 12 @ 9:11am ACST, NW of Wilmington SA Magnitude 2.9
This earthquake occurred in the Mount Brown conservation park area approximately 16 kilometres northwest of Wilmington, and 21 kilometres east-southeast of Port Augusta, SA.

2022 August 7 @ 1:44pm AEST, NW of Young NSW Magnitude 2.5
This earthquake was the largest of six earthquakes recorded in the Young vicinity on August 7; approximately 144 kilometres northwest of Canberra, ACT. Magnitude 2.0 and 2.1 earthquakes were recorded in the two hours preceding this event and three earthquakes of magnitudes between 1.0-1.6 in the 90 minutes afterwards. This earthquake was felt by some residents in the Young and surrounding rural areas.

This earthquake occurred in the Flinders Rangers approximately 205 kilometres northeast of Port Augusta, SA; and was felt by some rural residents in the Flinders Rangers area.

2022 July 3 @ 6:29pm AEST, Off Flinders VIC Magnitude 2.5
This earthquake occurred near the Mornington Peninsula just offshore of Flinders and Shoreham; approximately 72 kilometres south of Melbourne, VIC. This earthquake was felt by some local residents in the surrounding peninsula area and parts of nearby Phillip Island.

2022 June 6 @ 9:12pm AEST, NE of Korumburra VIC Magnitude 2.5
This earthquake occurred in the Gippsland area approximately 6 kilometres northeast of Korumburra, approximately 101 kilometres northeast of Melbourne, VIC. This earthquake was felt by some residents in Korumburra and surrounding rural regions.

2022 May 31 @ 1:25pm AEST, Mount Samson QLD Magnitude 3.0
This earthquake was recorded approximately 25 kilometres northwest of Brisbane and was felt by some residents in the local area and outer northern suburbs of Brisbane.

2022 May 19 @ 8:56pm AEST, NE of Woods Point VIC Magnitude 2.7
This earthquake is one of over 1500 aftershocks that have been recorded in the area since the magnitude 5.8 earthquake on 22 September 2021; and the largest aftershock recorded since a magnitude 3.2 earthquake that was recorded on 3 February 2022.

This earthquake occurred close to the town of Douglas Park, approximately 58 kilometres southwest of Sydney; and was felt by residents in Douglas Park and the surrounding areas and outer suburbs of Sydney.

2022 April 3 @ 8:08pm ACDT, E of Almerta Station SA Magnitude 3.0
This earthquake occurred just south of the Flinders Rangers region of SA, approximately 75 kilometres east-northeast of Port Augusta, SA; and 294 kilometres north of Adelaide, SA.

2022 April 3 @ 1:32am AEDT, Werris Creek NSW Magnitude 2.8
This earthquake occurred near Werris Creek, approximately 43 kilometres southwest of Tamworth, NSW; and 206 kilometres northwest of Newcastle, NSW. A magnitude 2.4 earthquake was recorded in a similar location 4 minutes after this event.

2022 March 29 @ 7:04pm ACDT, Mount Barker SA Magnitude 3.1
This is the largest earthquake that has been recorded in the Mount Barker area since the magnitude 3.7 earthquake on March 6. This event was felt solidly by residents in Mount Barker and immediate surrounds.

2022 March 20 @ 4:07pm ACDT, NW of Coober Pedy SA Magnitude 2.8
This earthquake occurred in outback SA, approximately 126 kilometres northwest of Coober Pedy, SA; and 518 kilometres south of Alice Springs, NT.

2022 March 14 @ 10:19am AEDT, NW of Berridale NSW Magnitude 2.8
This earthquake occurred near the Snowy mountains region, approximately 9 kilometres northwest of Berridale; approximately 114 kilometres south-southwest of Canberra, ACT. This earthquake was felt by some residents in Berridale and surrounding rural areas. 3 small aftershocks below magnitude 1.0 have been recorded in association of this event.

This earthquake occurred in the Pualco range region of SA, approximately 215 kilometres north-northeast of Adelaide, SA.

2022 March 12 @ 4:17am AEDT, Eildon VIC Magnitude 3.0
This earthquake occurred on Lake Eildon approximately 3 kilometres northeast of the town of Eildon itself, approximately 105 kilometres northeast of Melbourne, VIC. This earthquake was felt in the town of Eildon and surrounding regions. A magnitude 2.5 earthquake was recorded in a similar location 27 minutes earlier at 3:50am

2022 March 11 @ 3:46pm AEDT, S of Montague Island NSW Magnitude 2.8
This earthquake occurred just off the south coast of NSW, approximately 19 kilometres northeast of Bermagui; approximately 285 kilometres south-southeast of Sydney.

2022 March 6 @ 7:20am ACDT, Mount Barker SA Magnitude 3.7
This earthquake occurred near the southwestern edge of the town of Mount Barker, approximately 3 kilometres from the city centre; and approximately 29 kilometres southeast of Adelaide, SA. This earthquake was well felt in Mount Barker and surrounding regions including Adelaide and surrounding suburbs. A magnitude 2.4 earthquake was the largest of 12 aftershocks that have been recorded thus far.

2022 February 26 @ 9:45pm AEDT, Korumburra VIC Magnitude 3.0
This earthquake occurred in the Gippsland area approximately 2.5 kilometres northeast of Korumburra, approximately 102 kilometres northeast of Melbourne, VIC. This earthquake was felt well through the town of Korumburra and into the surrounding rural regions.

2022 February 24 @ 12:07am ACDT, Wirrabara SA Magnitude 2.9
This earthquake occurred near the Wirrabara Ranges and approximately 4 kilometres northwest of the town of Wirrabara itself, approximately 214 kilometres north of Adelaide, SA.

2022 February 16 @ 7:15pm ACDT, SW of Martins Well Station SA Magnitude 3.0
This earthquake occurred in the Flinders Rangers region of SA, approximately 161 kilometres northeast of Port Augusta, SA.

2022 February 11 @ 12:04pm AEDT, NW of Benambra VIC Magnitude 2.8
This earthquake occurred in the northeast high country of Victoria approximately 16 kilometres northwest of Benambra; approximately 102 kilometres southeast of Wodonga, VIC.

2022 January 25 @ 5:24am AWST, W of Wagin WA Magnitude 4.8
This earthquake is the largest of a sequence of earthquakes in the are that have been occurring in this area since the beginning of January. Other large earthquakes in this sequence include a magnitude 4.1 on January 5 and a magnitude 4.2 earthquake on February 1.  The main earthquake was felt all around the south-west corner of WA as far away as Perth itself, approximately 188 kilometres north-east of the epicentre. Earthquakes relating to this sequence are still occurring as of late March.

This earthquake occurred in the Flinders Rangers region of SA, near Lake Torrens; approximately 176 kilometres northeast of Port Augusta, SA.
