After arriving and realising that our exhibition stand was basically an empty piece of concrete floor with a backdrop curtain, I quickly arranged some bright red carpet and a red draped table to roughly match our new logo colours. With a TV looping my Earthquake Waves video and an iPad on hand to demonstrate Quick Quake, the “Ice Breaker” function at 6pm was a busy time, helped greatly by the fact that the free beers were to one side of us and the free food on the other!
Looking forward to talking to more seismologists, and seeing if I can get my hands on one of the legendary NASA calendars.
